The slug line in our script is positioned at the top, this is to inform the whole production line the name of the production, the presenters names involved in the script and the location of where the recording will be taken place. This is important to have on a radio script as similar to the script for Radio Sheffield they have theres at the top in bold before any talking takes place which shows that it is a similar convention.
Presenters
Music featured
Music featured on our scripts for ON20 FM will be featured every couple minutes playing a short sequence of each song after the jingle of 'start your night right with one20 fm' the first song which will be featured is God plans by Drake this is because the song is trending at the moment and will get the audience in the mood to want to carry on listening, then we will be playing old school hits for example Sean Kingston beautiful girls this is one of the main themes of music for my radio station as it plays a mixture of hits to suit a wider audience. The music is positioned on the right hand side after the jingle is played with a 10 second glimpse of the song.
The margins and breaks
In order for our script to be separated we have included margins and breaks to clearly separate our Dialogue/FX and Music Introduction with our presenters/ who's taking. Clear layout of the script is to benefit and make the task easier for the presenters and production team.
Dialogue
The dialogue feautured throughout the script is positioned at the right hand side this is to allow the production team to know what the radio presenters are saying etc more clearly and when to have the jingle/songs played.
Sound effects
Sound effects featured in the script are also featured o the right hand side above of below the dialogue in red bold writing this is to allow the production team but more specifically the sound editors to sue in the effects at the right time.
Timing
The timing in a script is very important as it gives us a rough idea on how long it will be. We have positioned the timing under the presenters name. This is because it is in a clear and obvious gives the presenters a rough idea to know if they are over/under running.
Interviews and Features
In our script we have featured call ins for confessions which is the main theme for our radio show. This is because our young teenage target audience would enjoy listening to others secrets/confessions and it is also gives us different/ varied content to present to our listeners which show the purpose to entertain.
News
We have included a news segment as part of our dialogue, this is featured at the very beginning of our radio show as it allows our audience to be updated with things such as weather, road works and general local news. This news is specifically targeted at our target audience through the news being based on the demographic of our audience, for example talking about local Sheffield news like football matches. This is similar to BBC Sheffield Live as they have their news local to the community and relate it to their target audience
Jingles
We have featured jingles under the Dialogue/FX and Music Introduction heading as this is easy and clearly positioned. It is written in red as this is quite easy to locate. We have created jingles to feature continuously through out our script. Looking at other existing script a Jingles are featured multiple times on their radio show. This is to sort of 'create a brand' for our listeners and for them to be quite familiar with the radio show. There will be three different jingles, one for the news, one for the station and a music jingle
